Between 2019 and 2020, South Carolina’s drug use increased by 59% and only continues to rise. Addiction is a disease that has impacted many individuals and their families. At Crest View Recovery Center, we know the harm and hurt addiction can cause, as many of our lives have been impacted by it.
Renewed health and healing are possible at our drug rehab facility. Crest View is based in Asheville, NC, but has expanded to service surrounding areas like South Carolina. Please continue reading for more information on our programs.
Treatment Programs at Crest View Recovery Center
Addiction can come in different forms, and we at Crest View recognize that with our drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs for South Carolina residents.
Partial Hospitalization Program
A partial outpatient hospitalization program (PHP) is clinical addiction or mental health treatment done at a facility a few days a week for several hours each session. Patients are then allowed to return to their home, school or other obligations after every treatment. A PHP helps patients learn skills during the day and put them into practice later in the evening, making this an excellent option for those who have gone through a residential program but feel they still need to be held accountable.
Intensive Outpatient Program
Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) combines independent living with ongoing addiction therapy. This program offers individual counseling, group therapy, 12-step support meetings and access to our on-site psychiatrist. We also offer a family therapy program so that your loved ones can be a part of your recovery process.
Holistic Programming
Holistic refers to non-medicinal treatment for a disease or disorder. Those who decide on our holistic programming will work to restore their whole being — mind, body and spirit — to good health. This can be done through meditation, yoga, fitness, art and nutrition therapy.
Trauma Therapy
Trauma can be linked to a person’s addiction experience. Crest View’s trauma therapy program strives to solve the root problems that could have initiated the addiction. Through this work, clients will learn new coping mechanisms to help process their past instead of turning to drugs or alcohol.
Experiential Therapy
Experiential therapy focuses on just that — experiences. This approach is known as therapeutic recreation, such as hiking, climbing, swimming, painting, etc. This goal is to teach clients to express stress or unhappy moods and channel them into a healthier outlet or activity.
Alumni Programming
To ensure you are staying on the right path, we have an alumni program for those who have already completed an entire treatment at Crest View. This program allows previous patients to stay connected and remain accountable while having our addiction recovery resources available to them at all times.
